The Project
Clarges Mayfair was designed as an elegant response to the established Piccadilly streetscape, respecting the rhythm and scale of traditional buildings whilst creating its own identity through contemporary details and craftsmanship.
To develop an ironmongery schedule which sits comfortably alongside the highly crafted design elements included within the architectural design for this super prime residential project.
Bespoke or tailored products are chosen for a number of different reasons, it could be that an architect approaches us with a specific design concept, or we suggested an adaptation of a product from our main collection to meet the design need.
The project scope developed to include an extensive bespoke package comprising of lever handles, pull handles, cabinet hardware, signage and much more.
In partnership with the architects and interior designers we explored the options to meet their design aspiration and help to deliver their ironmongery concept.
The bespoke lever handles for this project were developed from the architects initial sketches.
CAD drawings were produced to ensure that the design concept met all relevant sizing regulations.
For the initial prototype and design development we created a series of 3D printed models.
3D printing is a process in which a digital model is turned into a tangible, solid, three-dimensional object, usually by laying down many successive, thin layers of a material.
