The Project

  • Flexible Retail.
  • Restaurant Space.
  • High End Offices.
  • Roof Terraces.
  • Breakout Spaces.
  • Partial demolition.
  • Retention and refurbishment of the Edwardian facade.

Confidently nestled between 2 streets in London’s Fitzrovia, this 7,000 sqm multi-use development responds to the character of the area, respectfully blending in with its neighbours.

A beautiful bridging central void, brings the 2 sides of the development together, its distinctive arch shape a standout feature that follows through across all attributes of the architecture to windows, railings, light fittings and ultimately our Ironmongery specification.

  • The Brief

The architect’s creative vision was heavily anchored to a curved arch form, from the seven two-storey high arched windows showcasing the grand entrances to the impressive courtyard, the consistent use of the simple shape naturally formed the brief for the styling of the Ironmongery specification.

  • Simplicity

The architects styling was both distinctive and understated, and needed an approach to the ironmongery that was confidently simple, paired with a considered edge.

  • The Detail

The concept hung on a reduced yet perfectly selected palette of finishes and forms that has an underlying softness to it.

Our ironmongery concept consciously blends in to the background, to allow the subtle considerations of the architecture to stand out.

Washroom Solutions

As we continued our specification through into the washrooms, we recommended flat matt black products, all with the same soft arch form pulled through from the main architecture and Ironmongery specification.

We really do consider every detail, even down to the curved stock window of the hand towel dispenser because, for us, its that level of detailed thinking that takes a specification from good to great.

Core Range

We chose simple curved D-shaped pull handles with an uncomplicated nod to the curves of the architecture.

Bespoke

We worked closely with the architects to design and manufacture bespoke arched push plates in Flat Matt Black to compliment the core products and surrounding architecture.
