The Project

At the heart of London’s prestigious district of Mayfair, with views over Hyde Park, these luxurious private apartments and townhouses were design with a contemporary vision to create a modern building while incorporating the detail and character of a Grade II listed facade.
3V were approached directly as a trusted partner to supply ironmongery for this high-end residential complex from basebuild through to completion of private apartments and supporting five-star amenities.
Concept
The client supplied a concept sketch detailing their design aspirations for a signature lever handle to be use throughout the building on all apartments.
Working in collaboration with the client and our manufacturing partners we set about developing the design concept to meet the design aspirations and any performance & regulatory requirements.
Process
The lever handle’s organic shape required a greater level of co-ordination and development, we followed the below process to ensure it met the clients vision.
- Initial concept design provided by the client.
- Detailed CAD drawings and 3D CAD model produced to determine proportions and adjusted to meet regulations.
- Physical 3D printed model produced to sign off principles of the design.
- Prototype produced in the factory for clients final sign-off before manufacturing.
- Product manufactured.
