The Project
An inspired restoration and redevelopment of Greycoat Stores, a former Army & Navy Cooperative Society warehouse in Westminster.
As a typical base build fitout we were asked to specify ironmongery for the reception, all common areas and the basement to set the stage for the subsequent fit-out and customisation of the space by tenants.

Our brief was to be sympathetic to the curved design features and industrial finishes incorporated in the overall design asethetics.

The curved detailing and return of the 812 lever handle was perfect for the softer aesthetic especially in high traffic areas.
Dark Bronze was selected as the feature finish for all customer facing areas to match the bronze coloured frames of the new facade windows.

To add depth to the project design we suggested products that included curved features and incorporated radius corners to hinges, push plates and stripe plates.

To meet new legislation emergency frame stops were install to all toilet doors.
This ensures that all doors to toilets and cubicles are capable of being opened from the outside if a person has collapsed against them while inside the toilet

The semi circular shape at the top and bottom of the handle work in harmony with the building design.
We often schedule projects that require more than one finish. Split finishes can be chosen for aesthetics, zoning, budgeting, functionality etc.
